When I was given the opportunity to continue my internship at Sixth College Student Affairs for a second year, it also meant I would be working on some of the same projects as the year prior - one of which being the DeWitt Higgs Leadership Symposium. You can find my designs for last year's event here, as well as more context as to what the event is.

Because the event does not have an established theme or identity, I was encouraged to give the event a fresh new coat of paint. At the time of making this, I had grown fond of the "minimalist, faceless human" vector illustrations many graphic designers and artists have come to know and love, and wanted to use this opportunity to create my own. The overall visual aesthetic is a much lighter approach, in contrast to last year's design, but still manages to effectively convey all its necessary information in a stylistic manner.

Additionally, this is the year where we introduced a stronger social media and physical marketing presence, thus needing a poster and Facebook Event cover bearing the elements seen in the booklet.
